Resident Opportunity and Self Sufficiency (ROSS) Grant Program

The ROSS-SC grant program is committed to assisting Indian Housing residents to make progress toward economic and housing self-sufficiency. This is done by removing the professional, health, and educational barriers that our community members are faced with.

The assessment is to gather information about our community. This information will determine the critical needs that residents identify as barriers to achieving self-sufficiency. Self-sufficiency can be defined as a resident's ability to progress toward economic independence and stability through training and supportive services. For elderly residents and residents with disabilities, this means utilizing supportive services that enable them to age in place or remain living independently for as long as possible.
